Mixed Feelings — Clean, but Misleading Listing Positive: The house was very clean and well-equipped with everything we needed. We especially enjoyed the amenities like the cold plunge, gym, and sauna. It’s centrally located and walkable to many things — Safeway being just around the corner was a nice plus. Negative: Unfortunately, the property description was quite misleading. The listing showed a TV, but there wasn’t one. More importantly, the layout was not described accurately. There are actually two separate units — one upstairs and one downstairs with separate entrances. You have to go outside to move between them. The upstairs unit has a king bed and twin beds; the downstairs has a queen bed (and possibly a pullout we didn’t use). This setup wasn’t what we expected, and had we known, we wouldn’t have booked this house. Additionally, while a garage is listed, you cannot park in it. That would’ve been fine, but we received a parking ticket for “blocking the sidewalk,” despite not actually blocking anything — someone must’ve complained about our SUV’s bumper. There was plenty of space, but it was still frustrating.

Positive: This house is beautiful! Everything is high quality and it feels very comfortable, clean, and San Franciscan. The backyard is great for relaxing, reading, eating and has a nice sauna and cold plunge. We really loved our stay here, it was perfect for a large group with plenty of space to spread out with both the upstairs and downstairs areas. Negative: We requested early check in several months in advance and were told to call the day of, this made it difficult making arrangements for our day not knowing when we'd be able to check in. We ended up not being able to check in before 4 as the cleaners were still working up until then, but they did allow us to drop our luggage off.

It’s a great house and we really enjoyed it! Positive: Good location for our weekend in the city. The house was very comfortable and in a good, quiet neighborhood. The kitchen was well appointed and had everything we needed. The sauna and cold plunge were both great! Negative: Ice trays missing and the back patio area could have been swept or blown off. Not a big deal and we look forward to another visit.
